Unless you were alive and sentient in those years, I don’t know if you can appreciate fully how seriously the threat of Communism was taken by the vast majority of Americans. Too bad half the country now seems to think communism is just fine. Oh, well.

You know, amusingly stolid and direct as they are, these old educational shorts really had a lot of good information. I *wish* they would show stuff like this today.
(I also love how the campaign manager just grabs a soapbox and goes into full campaign-speech mode at the drop of a hat).
