Flotsam 'n' Jetsam

Where No Man Has… Wait, What’s the Line Again?

Bloopers are some of the best parts of a film – if you get to see them. Older films do not always have extant bloopers to add to a DVD, and if the actors are no longer in the realm of the living, we have to hope they mentioned the things that went wrong in interviews. Then we have to hope that those interviews were quoted or transcribed, if they were not recorded via film as well.

Luckily for Star Trek* fans, there are bloopers on film record. I was fortunate to see these recently; some were familiar, since they had been played as part of a television special and I had seen them then. Others were new, but no less funny for that.

Today, I pass that enjoyment on to you, readers. Along with the clips from the series we have the gag reel for Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home*, which has to be one of the best movies in the franchise not only for the acting but for the crackling dialogue. Saving the whales is just the excuse fans need to spend time with their favorite characters. 😉

Enjoy the show, readers!
